This effectively keeps your home cleaner and keeps you from constantly having to sweep up after your cat. The cleaning ramp may not be included will all LitterMaid models, and in some cases must be purchased separately for about $20.

The biggest complaint from those who've purchased LitterMaid boxes is the cleaning rake jams sometimes. Furthermore, the rake doesn't always succeed at getting all of the wastes into the container, so it's not a perfect solution. You also have to clean the rakes regularly, as the clumping litter clogs them up.
