How to protect them: Ragdolls are not street smart, therefore they should not be allowed outside the house. They are highly susceptible to attacks because they prefer affection over fighting. Desire for affection can be a big problem for a ragdoll cat who has ventured away from home, as they can easily be lured away by strangers who may wish to do them harm.

Grooming habits: In terms of mess, ragdolls are one of the easiest breeds to own. Their fur is not the same as most cats, so they lose much less, and it is not as difficult to clean up. An added bonus of their unusual hair type is that they will only need to be groomed once or twice a week.
